For me, football season begins tomorrow night

I'll be back behind a camera for my third season shooting Gavilan (community) College games on a local cable-access station. :woohoo:

This was taken during the final game last season. It rained, and we had to jury-rig tarps over the cameras and the "talent."

That would be fun. I did a little camera work for a cable access show a few years back. I still kinda have the bug for it, just too many hobbies and not enough time. Mostly just shoot stills now though. Love doing sports photos. See my HS Football thread for the latest.

Yeah, it's a blast. Only thing is, my back always hurts after games because the tripods are too short for people my height. But it's loads o' fun, and between Gavilan and the two high schools, I'll probably end up shooting 10 games per season.

Videography is also a neat skill to have, and I'm hoping to learn the editing suite this year.
