I've always been somewhat of a hermit, and I go to the ladies bar once a week just for a change of scenery and to socialize. And I purposely go on Sunday night because it's more quiet.

I've never liked a lot of social activity. And I realize I am more the exception than the rule.

So, what does your social calendar look like?

1. I used to love bars and clubs, now I can't stand the noise.
I like a nice quiet pub or sports bar.

3. That's why I like Sunday night at this place.
There isn't as much of a crowd, and no screaming, loud, and noisy band playing. I can't stand having to shout to have a conversation. Or being deaf for the next couple days.

8. Not often enough!
I vary, I love going to my local hole in the wall on busy raucous nights, but, I also enjoy going and watching baseball games, etc. I go out maybe 1x/month, my kid really cramps my partying schedule

10. Yeah, having young kids can cramp one's style. But ....
I honestly preferred and evening with him anyway. We had dates, like going to a movie or out to eat. Fun days.

12. Almost never...
I've had my fill of going out.

At this phase of my life, I am happier at home.

13. Me too. But I isolate myself too much, so I force my one night a week outing.
Even so, I pick a slow night, and an otherwise quiet night.

I'm a hermit, and rather anal retentive and picky. And I don't have a problem with that!

15. In what respect, Charlie?
But, seriously, we went to a bar once this summer for a wedding party, and it was the first such outing in many years. We see a movie once or thrice a year. We go out for occasional meals with friends.

18. True that. When my ex lived here we rarely went out at all, but for a couple movies.

17. For business, once in a while. Socially, almost never.
Too many at home responsibilities, and quite honestly, not that big of a fan of people out in public. Let me rephrase that. It's not that I don't like people, but there's always a couple folks in every movie showing that won't shut up and ruin it. There's always a couple assholes at the pub that ruin it. Why bother?

23. Speaking of assholes at the pub, usually Sunday is pretty quiet night.
However a couple Sundays ago an older employee got fired. She came back in and started a screaming match and threatened to tear heads off. Sheesh!

Police ended up escorting her out.

24. I'm more inclined to make a night of it, rather than frequent short visits.
It's also within walking distance, so that is very fortunate.
