most definitely shave, that will pretty much solve the first prob, then wash the shit out of everything you have, like bedsheets, etc. It used to be more of an epidemic back in the hairy '70s, I think...
No, you don't need to burn your apartment down, though. Just wash everything and shave..that should do it, I hope!
