I'm starting to get a lot of phone calls for political donations and surveys.

I realize I'm on several lists because of being registered as a Democrat and the various donations I've made.

But it irritates me all the same. I donate what I can, when I can. And I don't care for the arm twisting or guilt trips to donate more. My feeling is, "don't call me, I'll call you."

I just hate this part of every election season. Today some volunteer gave me a ration of horse shit to donate more NOW, when I could not. And it makes me feel like I'd prefer to donate anonymously, so they'd quit calling me.

I'm just a cranky old fart, I guess. And it's a small price to pay to get Obama in the White House this year.
