Online pornography makes me feel like a prude. |
|
So I'll be honest - I'm a red-blooded American woman who enjoys her pornography. Erotic stories are a fun indulgence for me, and I blushingly admit to feasting my eyes on a video short now and then.
But one can never escape the unexpected, and there's nothing quite like the experience of watching a titillating treat quickly warp into a twisted, deflating nightmare.
Really now, did you HAVE to go there?
My lascivious moment disabled, I prowl around for more "limited" fare, but I can't shake the feeling that my prudish sensibilities are now antiquated. Philistine. Befitting a nunnery.
What happened to good old days of standard flesh-on-flesh activity? Am I romanticizing a past that never was? Or perhaps I've only arrived at this stage of my reproductive life to find a world far advanced than I had imagined.
Congratulations, internet porn. You have cast me into a prude, and a prude I always shall be.

2. Sure, there's something out there for every taste, but certain tastes seem overrepresented, |
|
and I'm not talking about "straight vanilla" type tastes either. Speaking for myself, anything involving violence, pain, or humiliation instantly turns me off, and it seems there's way too much of that kind of material on the Web. Wonder what that says about our collective psyche? DeSade would probably be pleased with a lot of this stuff, and that's NOT a good thing in my book. :scared:

Here I thought I was a grade-A pervert. But here's me looking at internet porn:
This could be interesting. *click* Ugh, ugly people. *click* How about this? *click* Kinda hot. Oh, that's interesting. Mmmmm. Aghh! My eyes! What the fuck! Disease! *random keyboard mashing to make it go away while shielding my eyes*

Literotica has some hundreds of thousands of stories, poems, essays, etc.
So I'm told.

8. I think the art of the tease |
|
has largely been diminished. Whateer happened to the buildup and release?
There's a lot of material that looks only like so much of a gyno exam, and that's not erotic at all.
