I am fucking tired of "lookism" in this campaign and all campaigns. Of course there is a lot of racism and sexism going on too, but why the hell do we care what the president looks like?

(BTW: I am fine with making fun of Bush, he deserves it.)

A lot of people won't be able to get passed Obama's blackness and Palin's femaleness to see what's inside their noggins. That's just the kind of country we live in. People, for the most part, aren't interested in intellectual ability. It's who they'd rather have a beer with or who's better looking.
