I just watched a very AWESOME video ~ on a very obscure site.....

could someone please tell/teach me how to save a 1/2+ long video onto my computer?

1. Get firefox and then load the extensions that allow you to save

streaming video.

2. Most embedded vids are in the FLV format.

Find the video you want to download, copy the URL address, then go to this page and paste the URL where it says to, and click download.

Another page opens with all the media files on the page you pasted. Usually there's only a couple of choices, and they'll be and FLV file or MP4 file. Choose the FLV file to download.

Now, download this here FLV player and install it. (There's plenty of different free FLV players, so you can choose a different one if you'd like)

Once that's installed you should be able to play the FLV file that you downloaded in the FLV player.
