15. Comes on right after WWDTM around here and... |
|
I usually listen every Saturday. Then comes Prairie Home Companion. Weekend Edition is in there somewhere, and the other local NPR station has Selected Shorts, Splendid Table, and Will Shortz and his puzzles.
Good radio around here.

2. If you podcast that then definitely check out: |

Some comedy is podcast, but the good stuff is stored online for only 7 days...
"Just a minute" is one of my favourites. The premise is simple: talk about a subject without repetition, hesitation or deviation (lying) for 1 minute. If you get caught and your opponent challenges you correctly, they get to take up talking about the subject until time runs out. Whoever is talking when the whistle blows is the winner of that round.

5. I think they are a very close second to |
|
CAR TALK. Ya can't beat Click and Clack week in and week out and they drag out the same lines over and over and I still bust a gut in my garage listening to them. But Wait, Wait is awesome and they come on right after Car Talk in my neck of the woods. I spend a lot of time in the garage saturday mornings.

I can't even drive but I have to listen to the show anyway! Wait Wait Don't tell Me is too funny, how they make fun of such serious people sometimes.

13. Wait Wait and Car Talk have the same executive producer |
|
A very funny guy, naturally.
I have presented Wait Wait live three times; the cast and crew are as much fun off the air as they are on. Some have even become personal friends!
