The next person who lies to me to "protect my feelings" is gonna get an ass kicking!!
So okay, some of you might remember that my mother was in the hospital for the last few days and supposedly they couldn't find anything wrong, that it was just a blood pressure issue. But I heard there was something on the MRI which bothered me...Well..WRONG WRONG WRONG...It turns out my mother had a small stroke. She's okay and didn't suffer any permament damage but still..Well they are gonna manage her blood pressure closely and hopefully she'll do alright.
But yesterday they knew this and when I called my mother to find out how she was, my older sister (the one I don't talk to cause we don't get along) TOLD MY MOTHER NOT TO TELL ME..Because I would "freak out".
Well, fuck! I've had to deal with going to Mayo, because I was wondering if I had cancer, Myelofibrois (a potentially deadly disease) or might have a stroke or heart attack! So I've had to deal with this.
I knew something was up. At least my mother told me becasue EVERYONE ELSE..including my dad, her ex-husband in Ohio, KNEW.
My sister is such a presumptious idiot sometimes. She has no idea who I am anymore..I have a hell of a lot more sense and strength than she does!
I'm sorry but this kind of thing just irritates the hell out of me.

I heard Sarah Palin is about to speak to the press...

Maybe you can put that energy to good use, I am POSITIVE she will lie somehow...

On a serious note, that really sucks.

2. I can totally relate and it pisses me off too...
My mom tells me shit isn't my business all the time. I've stopped giving a shit about her half the time because of it. I'm sorry our sister is like that. Some people just do not have the ability to think.

4. In the past sometimes
But I've been through so much in the last few years, I've actually been stronger than some of the other members of the family, including my older sister who has done her share of "freaking out" on stuff.

5. I hate it when people do that
"We didn't tell you your ex-boyfriend was gay because we thought it would upset you."

"We didn't tell you two of your closest friends were living together because we thought it would upset you."

:banghead:

6. What if I lie to you specifically to piss you off?
As a friend, I'd be happy to oblige.

7. You don't have to lie to me...
What you can do is consult your pendulum to tell me my future, or perhaps read a passage from "The Secret" that ought to do it!....;-)

9. Oh, I hate that.
Its insane to intervene on behalf of others. My sister spent a lifetime telling me not to tell my parents stuff because they couldn't handle it. I found out as an adult that she had been telling them MY STUFF, putting her own little spin on it, and acting like I was keeping secrets.

So, there is a presumptive idiot gene.
