question on laptop wireless: How do I get service most places besides borrowing someone else's |
|
network?
I got a wireless modem, but fewer and fewer people leave their networks unpassword protected. My cell phone provider only has a plan to connect at "hot spots" which is only a minor savings in convenience.
Is there anyway to get wireless computer service that is roughly as widely available as cell phone reception?

2. To echo PeaceNikki...broadband cards from cell providers |
|
I think they pretty much all have them nowadays.
You can always go to a coffee shop, McDonalds, bookstore, etc...

I also sometimes take my computer to the public libraries--they have wireless access for free too (and computers too if need be..)
