UGH! Photo posting help, please?

Okay, so I've got the bestest photos of the newest member of our family to share tonight, but I can NOT figure out/remember/understand the damn directions in the DU Help section to post the photos in my post.

Could someone please explain it in simple english for me?

2. Do you have an account with a photo hosting website?

Something like Photobucket or Flickr? If not, the first step is to go to Photobucket and sign up for a free account.

4. Just paste the url of the photo location into your post

Assuming you have uploaded the pictures onto photobucket, etc. :)

9. OK, I'm more familiar with photobucket, but try this.

Right-click on the photo you want (the photo itself, not a thumbnail) and drag down to "Copy Image Location". Then go to DU and hit "Paste" or ctrl-v. That should give you the direct link you need to post on DU.

13. The picture's url MUST end in .jpg or .gif

If it does, just paste that in your post and it will magically make a pic in your post.
