But I think we probably do to a certain extent. Probably as much as you can get to know someone typed out on a computer screen. :)

I've met a few people from here in person and I'm glad I got to know them better, but there are times here when I'm glad I'm just an anonymous voice out in the internet. Friends are good, though, and if you are at a point in your life when you need more of them I encourage you to seek them out.

I've noticed that too. Something has changed around here. There are lots of people I used to be close friends with who now obviously don't care for me. In some cases I know what I did wrong. In some cases I am sure I did nothing.

It is sad. I know that many people are really suffering and struggling with their personal lives, and when that happens, strangers many miles away whom you only communicate with by text on a screen, aren't really so important.
