That's him there, the white-blond haired dude. When bearded guy got up, I sat there. He was on his own, no security, just riding the tube. Got off at Euston. That yellow binder in his hand said "Mayor's Copy" on the side. Heh.

5. He's the mayor of all of London.
The "City" is the financial district, but he's the mayor of Greater London, otherwise known as London. :)

4. I miss riding around on British trains
It's very relaxing, much more refined than plastic US crap.

6. neat! How do you like London?
I envy you. What a great city. That guy looked like the classic Londoner to me when he was shown on the Olympics. Great that he rides the subway unencumbered. No one noticed? Or they were too polite?

Do you have a blog or something about your Londoner's Eye view? :hi:

8. Everybody must have noticed
They'd all think, "fuck! It's Boris!"

But then everybody would be too polite to say anything.

10. The mayor of Los Angeles took the train today.
Just today I'd guess.

I'm jealous. My town's a drag. Noting fun like over there.

Over there, over there, send the word, send the word over there...

Oh, never mind. Back to work.
