Turtlensue, MadinMaryland, Charlie and Algernon, Bertha Katzenengel: A question.
Did the Maryland air feel a bit more...distinguished...this weekend? Electrified, perhaps? Did you get the sense that something extraordinary was occurring in your home state but you just couldn't put your finger on it?

Yep.

That's right.

I came a'callin to the Land of Mary last weekend. Outdoor wedding. Indoor reception with no AC, which turned into an outdoor reception because it was actually cooler outdoors than it was indoors. But not by a whole lot.

But heat and humidity don't bother me one bit. I had a great time.

1. Actually, I thought the air smelled bad this weekend.
Down here at least.

2. That happens in Virginia from time to time.
High pressure toilets coupled with the lack of radar detectors has been known to foul the air.

4. The remnants of Hurricane Peter....
Yeah, it WAS difficult to stay outside and I did have a funny desire to leave the state...
AND oddly, the O's seemed to play soooo well in his honor (12-2, 12-6 dh losses to the Twins):P

5. The Redskins did their best to try to impress me that they were a good football team yesterday...
But I'm still not fooled. :P
