Does anyone know how I can upload an audiobook file from my hard drive to my iTunes library?

I downloaded a free audiobook from audible.com, and I can't get it into my iTunes library so I can upload it to my iPod.

I already tried to copy and paste from the hard drive; I also tried the "Import" function in iTunes. No luck. Any ideas?

I know that our local library has audio books we can download online but they cannot be played on an ipod but can on other MP3 players. I don't know if this is the case with audibles but it might be. Something to do with itunes proprietary software :eyes: What might work is burning it to CD and then importing the CD with itunes. Double check the FAQ at audibles, I would imagine they'll mention if they aren't ipod compatible. This may be a totally different issue from what I experienced with the library downloads.
