I am so worried...
One of my friends and I usually text or e-mail daily. Not really communicating by phone primarily because we don't like using the phone because our jobs require being on the phone all day. I have not heard from him in almost 3 weeks. I am starting to get really worried. I have tried everything to get in touch with him - I know he started a new job, but I don't know what the company is called or else I would call and ask for him just to see if he is ok. I am hoping it is a matter of him losing his phone and not getting a new one, but the phone rings like, 8 times and does not instantly go to voicemail.

I have been trying to call his cell phone, and it has 2 rings in quick succession, then rings normally about eight times. I don't know what to do. He lives in another city so i can't go to his house. I am starting to get really worried. I just want confirmation that he is ok. I am starting to lose sleep over this. He was involved with some unsavory people and I hope he is ok!

1. My dear Sannum...
That is scary.

I wish I had some suggestions, but alas, I don't.

Do you know anyone who lives close to him?

I had trouble reaching a friend of mine, and since she only lives 35 miles away, and I have her address, I went down to see her...

And then everything was OK.

I'm holding the good thought for you and for your friend, sweetie...

3. He has lost his phone before.
I just hope that is the explaination. He only has a cell phone - not a land line, so it is the only option to get in touch with him. He changed his e-mail address after he got a new job, and of course I lost the thing. I just hope all is well. Keeping my fingers crossed I hear from him soon.

:hugs:

2. No ideas. Sometimes I panic too when I cannot get in touch with someone - or if plans
fall through. It has always been okay in the end. Some logical explanation.

4. I had this happen recently with my son
He lives 3000 miles away and I had no other way of reaching him so I know how you feel. It was 2 of the longest weeks I ever lived but as it turned out, he did indeed lose his phone.

I hope that's all that has happened with your friend. Good thoughts.
