Do you know if this is a historical landmark? Or where it is?

3. I do know where it is, of course
I took the picture...
it is right on the NC/SC line in Landrum, SC

I don't know that it is a historical landmark, just a restored gas station,, or "filling station" as they were then known

12. Bertha, if you're into stuff like that
look for a coffee-table book called "Pump and Circumstance" by John Margolies. It has tons o' photos of gas stations from the earliest ones as well as a textual history of them.

Oil companies used to invest a great deal in the design of their stations; many were Art Deco or Art Nouveau. I miss that.

time, and I'm very familiar with Bethel. Lot's of wonderful memories.
