Thomcat Update - Monday Night

I just spoke with Thomcat. The surgery went well; although it took place so late in the afternoon that the hospital is keeping him for another night. He's getting the top shelf of pain medications so he was a little out of it tonight. He was turning off his cell phone to get a good night's sleep. I send his thanks for all the DU love.

Various friends have stopped by with food so he hasn't had to rely on the hospital's interpretation of a vegan diet. I don't know if this is proof of a merciful god, but it does show how much we love our friend, Thom. Thanks to all for the well-wishes, love, visits and edible food.
