someone who is not only not comfortable, but actually averse to being supervised? Someone who views mgmt as something of a necessary evil, but a stumbling block, nonetheless? Someone who does their best work, best thinking when alone and away from constant justifications about he or she works?
What would you say about that person?

I admire people like that. Unfortunately, most managerial types do not--which is one good reason to go out and become a managerial type yourself. It's better to be the one supervising than the one being supervised. :hi:
