One Year Ago Today, Teh Lounge, As We Knew It, Was Forever Changed.

The day was September 16, 2007.

In the midst of the all-too-common and expected discussions about relationship problems, job issues, cat stories and sports banter, a man from Minnesota - land of the Twins, Vikings and funny accents - found his way into the Democratic Underground Lounge and changed teh Lounge reputation forever. But it wasn't his innocent posts about his love for baseball that caught everybody's attention....



nor was it his half-nekkid, cigar-smoking pics that caused the collective stir (although it certainly didn't hurt :P )....



No. These things were almost expected in teh Lounge.

So, this particular n00bie knew that in order to make himself known, he needed to stand out amongst teh other Lounge Lizards; he needed his own lexicon....a mojo, if you will - to make a name for himself. And so he became a legend - both in his and our minds - by making himself known as the master of any and all things Spinal Tap; but he upped the ante by combining that talent with his undying love and obsession of.....

NIPPLEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!!!!!!!!!!!!
