4. I've been souring the web...
I'm trying the bag of dry rice thing now.

Hubby just got home. He is NOT pleased. :-(

I have no phone for 2 days, it seems... if I'm lucky to have one after that.

5. *psst*
Tell him the reason you were taking it in the bath tub was to take naked bubbly bathtub pics to send him

( It would work on me at any rate )

14. Well that's no way to relax!!
In a way, I'm glad this happened to you :sarcasm: You need to let go of all that stuff in your relaxing baths! (But I'll only be glad if the phone recovers - too expensive to lose in a tub).

18. I've seen three Murder She Wrote episodes
Where the victim was in a hot tub/bathtub and was electrocuted by a television. So I fear electronics in the bathroom!

9. We just had a similar mess here.
Our son left a cell phone in the pocket of his jeans, and ThinkBlue1966 put the jeans in the washer without realizing that there was something in the pocket.

We have it taken apart to dry out, and are praying that it works again. Those prepaid minutes are too expensive to lose $30 worth without a lot of pain for us. *sigh*

10. I have put several phones through the
washing machine and they always dried out fine.

I have also spilled water on my laptop numerous times and it dried out fine.

I have never heard of the rice thing--what is that?

13. interesting. I wonder if this will
work on non-i-phones....

But have faith--simply drying phones/computers out does work most of the time.
