Um, I'm never cooking again...i'm bleeding to death |
|
Last night, bad cheese grater incident on my right thumb, still hurts and is red and angry...
Just sliced the top of my pinkie on my left hand open while chopping onions, and I'm bleeding like a motherfucker. It's bandaged to the hilt, and still bleeding.
I hereby resign from cooking. Now.

|
Plus, the sight of blood makes me vomit, and I'm not taking off the bandages now. If I do... :puke:

8. Was it Stevie Ray who glued his fingertip calluses back on after a couple ripped off? |
|
I think it was him. Super glued the tips of his fingers back on to keep playing.
And cocaine.

:-) I am dangerous with sharp objects too. Even though my brother (amerikat) says there are no sharp objects in my kitchen! He brings his own knives when he comes over.
Sorry about your poor hand!

I went to the emergency room for a cut like that once. It took them so long to get to me that I finally walked home. The bleeding stopped and I immobilized the finger with some first aid tape and a popsicle stick. Still have the scar.
Be CAREFUL!!!!

When I cut the tip of my ring finger off it bled, and bled, and bled. Just keep it tight and try to keep it above your heart, I swear it works to slow the bleeding.

Freak accidents, 2 days in a row. My Ex was like "Step away from the sharp objects, please!!"
I'm bandaged and the bleeding has stopped. I removed the gauze and cleaned it again. It's ugly, but I think I'll live. :hi:

there's your problem right there.
Also, what is a cheese grater? I have been cooking for years and never used one of those. My meals are very simple, usually only involving a pot of boiling water.

16. Did you have to get stitches? |
|
Two Thanksgivings ago I picked up a HUGE ceramic roasting dish with one hand right on a hair line crack, and guess what it did, yes it fucking split at the line and a sharp ass fragment sliced my pinkie badly enough I had to go get stitches. It gave me a cool parabolic shaped scar though.

17. You can not resign until you've had at least three trips to the ER because of cooking accidents. |
|
I've had two, both after knife slips. If it makes you feel any better, I've grated a finger until it was red and angry. :hi:
