and now fire/rescue and half a dozen cop cars blocking traffic. I heard the shots and can stand on my patio and see the aftermath of whatever the hell happened.

4. For you, an update: Now over a dozen cop cars on the scene

Crime tape strung up everywhere.

It was three pistol shots in rapid fire, so it must have been an automatic, perhaps a .38 or 9mm. It may have been a cop drawing down on a druggie- it's happening in a quickie mart-style store parking lot that's known for drug dealing. I've been here about two years and I've never once crossed the street to use that store just because of it.

I'm guessing- it could have been a drug dealer firing on someone else. I'm sure it'll be on the news this afternoon, not that I'll watch it- I don't have a TV and don't focus on local news.

This ain't the first time I've heard weapons firing here, and it won't be the last.
