MrLaraMN's "concern" for my health is so endearing.
:eyes:

He spent some length of time on the internet looking up symptoms of iron deficiency and finding lists of foods that are high in iron that I would eat.
Apparently, he also discussed as much with my mother, which means that Mom will undoubtedly show up at my house with things I should eat, and become marginally convinced that I have profound anemia and am near death.

For the record, I don't even think my iron level is low. I'm pretty certain that I can tell when it is.

The best part is that MrLaraMN is TOTALLY not doing this out of concern for my health, he's doing it because I'm always cold, and he's looking for an easy fix so that he can keep the bedroom windows open at night and prevent my Autumnal reintroduction of the electric blanket. It's not my fault he's a giant freaking ball of heat!

Maybe he should just quit being hot all the time. Did he think of that?!
I'm going to Google it and produce a list of foods he should eat to be "less warm."

:P

7. That's funny. How about an electric blanket with individual controls?
He can leave his side off, you can turn yours to 10!

If you are always cold, maybe you have low thyroid, check this-

I used to find out I was borderline anemic when I'd go to the blood bank to give blood. Sometimes the nurse would test my blood and tell me my hemoglobin was too low to donate.

8. You'll have your revenge later in life
When you're menopausal and having hot flashes, you will want a cold house and he will want it warmer. Revenge!! Bring up all those years you had to suffer!

9. Sounds odd, but don't go to Denver if you're anemic
Or anywhere else high-altitude. Low iron + high altitude = headaches, tachycardia, weakness.

I had fibroids, and didn't put 2 + 2 together, and went on a vacation high in the Wyoming mountains - I was one sick puppy.

And sorry, but I side with MrLauraMN - the cold person can always add more clothes. The hot person can't necessarily take more off!

11. Maybe his thyroid is overactive and that's why he's so warm all the time.
:D

I get cold very easily. But then, my normal body temperature is 96.7-ish, well below the 98.6 considered "normal." If I get to 99, I have a fever!
