This time a train collided with a Metro bus. Thankfully there were no fatalities or serious injuries.

The nooz had an item on just a bit ago, where the company who owns the transit system had spent close to 100K lobbying in Sacramento so there would be little regulation of driver/engineer work hours.

Metrolink is the long-distance commuter rail system.
No, I have never ridden either, but it's good to know they're there, in case my non-driving self should ever end up in SoCal.

We go to El Lay on occasion, park near Union Station and ride trains around all day. It is fun.
