Sounds good. Can't wait to meet some DUers in person...
My band, MegaSuperUltra, should start playing shows pretty soon, too. Can you believe it? I found a band long before I found a job. Four weeks since I moved to Chicago, and we're already looking to book some shows....Go figgah!
Plus, we sound like early XTC.....(drool, drool.....) And I know you like XTC!

3. Wow. I wish we sounded more like XTC. |
|
We're still kind of searching for our sound. But we're making progress.

4. Actually, we're a little closer to "Setting Sons"-era Jam, but... |
|
Still got a little "Drums and Wires" in our sound. I joined my dream band!
So, what DO you guys sound like? You said "big loud rock music" before, right? Well, shit, I like that too....Just as long as it's not electronica or country, I'm okay with it....

5. Checkout our website... |

There's 3 songs you can listen to.
I wish we were more steeped in English-style rock. To be in a band that sounds like "Setting Sons" era Jam sounds great.
We're more greasy. More like Cheap Trick on a bad night.
We're a little hard to pin down, at least for me. We don't really play like anybody I've heard. We're pretty bombastic. And quite loud.

9. When I moved to Chicago 5 years ago |
|
I was in a band months before I found a job, too. Just goes to show where my priorities lie sometimes!
My main band (Knife of Simpson) sounds like Black Sabbath, if they came from Birmingham AL instead of England. Southern-fried boogie, but with Jello-type lyrics.
Cool, I didn't know there were any musicians moving here anymore! Let me know when you get some shows, I'll definitely be there.
P.S. Nice Bob avatar, too.
