I posted the DUzy Awards & I'm on my 2nd triple martini, ask me anything! |
|
It occurred to me that I've never done one of these threads before. Of course, I seldom post in the Lounge, and nobody in GDP ever asks me anything...

How well did you do in quantum physics? I sucked at it.
And, what is a triple martini?

4. My quantum physics experience consists of watching a Scott Bakula TV show. |
|
And a triple martini is a whole big bunch of gin - shaken, not stirred - kissed with a little vermouth. We're out of olives, but a little belt-tightening is appropriate, what with the Wall Street crash and all.

which is then studied for erectile properties by eggheads using electrical impulses. I've had my legs crossed for a week and all I had to do was read about this.

Or maybe he can encourage faith-based groups to get involved. They seem strangely obsessed with penises and vaginas already.

10. 5 parts gin, 1 part vermouth, x 3 |
|
and it's a good idea to make sure the shaker is full almost to the top, providing enough for the next one and the next one and the next one and...
Final ingredient is likely to be nodding off in front of the TV.

29. Jeepers, serious questions. |
|
I started them based on an idea by NanceGreggs. And though I couldn't pick a top 10 if I tried, I have to say the funniest thing I ever saw on DU - long before the DUzy Awards began - was a discussion thread that had something to do with Dan Quayle, and the issue of a typo came up somehow. Some unsung genius posted a single word: "Typoe" That's all I remember, but it still makes me laugh.

Does the fact that I've played Bon Jovi's "Livin' On a Prayer" twelve times in a row have anything to do with it?
Be honest.
And at least it's NOT Stevie Nicks.
So there.
