1. As much as I despise the YankMe's
I still think it's a damn shame that the stadium's going down. :(

2. George needed luxury boxes...they draw 4 million people a year
Not enough. We kill things for money in this country. Pretty hard to take when it comes to a ballpark like this.

Cheers, Sebastian.

4. Figured it was Steinbrenner's fault.
I actually hate him more than the team itself. Why is it that team owners named George are always the biggest assholes in baseball? Like Steinbrenner? Or George Argyros who used to own the Mariners? Or that idiot who used to own the Texas Rangers.... what was his name again??

3. They're actually gonna demo it?
Fuck man, you wouldn't get away with that shit here. Maple Leaf Gardens will always be there as will the, renovated Montreal forum. Shit, I don't even think they'd knock down the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, and the canucks ain't ever done shit.

5. They're going to keep the baseball field and surround it with trees
People will be able to play on it; a rare act of humanity for us Yanks. The building will be taken down in pieces.

7. That's really cool! So the city is basically swapping existing parkland
where the new stadium goes for a new park based around the current playing field? Pretty smart...
