My dad seems to think I don't get football.

He seemed a bit irritated just now, when I noted "that ref is a really good-looking guy". Apparently, I'm not paying attention to the right aspects of the game. Now I remember why my mom and I used to go to movies during Packers games.

6. What's not to get?

It's a gentleman's game, played roughly. Only the goalie can use the hands. Strike as you can, protect as you should. A fantastic game.

It's all my colleagues ever talk about at work. During the season, out of season, all the fucking time. Fantasy football, Sunday league football, football this, football that. Shut up! Shut the fuck up! Talk about something else for once in your lives!
