No hits on my craigslist ad |
|
I have been looking for a place that I can move into that is already established and I can bring my three cats. No takers. So I guess I am stuck here for the winter. I said this before, but I committed myself to give my cats a forever home and I am not going to get rid of them.
It's just that this house I am renting from my Grandparents is falling apart at the seams and they won't spend the money to fix it. My roommate is a liar and thief and I want him gone, but he planted his ass down and dared me to evict him. I called the police and because he has been living here for over a year and a half and is getting mail, I have to take him to court. It just sucks. I am really upset about my living conditions right now. No water, no washing machine, the ceiling leaks in three places when it rains or snows. I have to be careful where I keep my hearing aids and Ipod lest they get dripped on by water. I just want my own studio apt downtown with my three kitties!!!
Thanks for letting me vent. You guys rule!

Denver, Colorado! I visited once and loved it so much---would love to be able to live there!
Pretty nice place. Do they still have that huge bookstore that is like 7 stories?

I think the bookstore is on the Mall. I forget the name of it though.

That's it!! Thanks Heidi. My ship will sail in one day and I can leave this place. As long as my cats have water in their bowl, they don't care that I don't have running water to clean the kitchen and bathroom.
But I am telling you, once I move I will be a much happier person.

Very cheap rent for the area. They could get triple the amount of rent than they are getting now. It's just that I have lived here for 15 years and they would have to spend quite a few bucks getting this place fixed up for their next tenants. And that is just what irks me,why aren't they fixing the place up for ME?!?! I have no running water in the kitchen. My Grandfather just tells me to put a pail under the sink. I love my Grandparents, but they treat me like dirt sometimes.

5. Maybe I just watch too many "court" shows on daytime tv, |

but it sounds like an illegal rental, with the roof leaks and no running water. On the other hand, if you complain, they might evict you.
Whatever happens, I wish you the best.

8. My Grandparents are very elderly |
|
and it would just about kill them if I move out. But our "rescue" apartment upstairs is being occupied by their son, my Uncle. He would JUMP on the chance to move in here and would do so right after I moved out. So it wouldn't be so bad. The only problem is I don't have the key money to move, that is why I have to find a nice gay couple on the hill who will accept me and my cats without a deposit.
