That's me. There's just SO much going on right now. Classes, internship, new 'job', Thesis, cats. I'm totally off kilter and disorganized, which isn't like me. I'm having trouble focusing or being motivated, b/c I don't know where to begin. I'm under a pile of my own creation, and I feel lost. When I get home, I don't want to do a damn thing, even though I know I should.

If I can just make it through Friday...

I'm going home Saturday morning for the weekend. Hopefully for some good and healing time in the green wonderfulness of Western MA, away from crazy cats and homework, etc. I need a breather.

1. Welcome to my life.
I've been making time for my activism and my son. Those are the things that leave me feeling energized, not drained. The rest, I'm mostly letting skate as much as I can get away with, to be perfectly honest.

Oh, and I'm trying to eat well and sleep better, because it's hard to manage any of the rest without decent fuel and rest.

3. I've been letting everything skate, other than Sniffa, the cats and
going to classes, but I haven't been doing any of my reading for classes, just doing homework that has to be turned in, I'm slacking at my internship, and need to bust my ass on my thesis. Plus the new 'job' starts Thursday night. (in quotes b/c it's a fuckload of work, just unpaid, hard to explain).

I could use: more sleep, less alcohol. I'm eating well though, at least.

I'm really hoping that 24+ hours away with my BFF will chill my ass out and get me back on track.

:)

2. I'm sorry you are feeling overwhelmed...
I have often said that my ideal vacation would be a medically induced coma with full service spa treatments while I'm out of it...

5. Well, my weekend will consist of:
1) running a paint roller up and down walls, which is kinda like meditating

2) a really good dinner out on the town

3) at least one kickass back massage

4) a hotel room that I don't have to clean up the next day.

And I'm bringing my bathing suit for the 24 hour heated pool. :D

:pals:

6. They won't, but thank you
I've signed on for a good 9 months of overload. My own fault. But I'll get back on track once the shit gets too deep to swim in, so to speak. I'm just in a "whoa! I'm totally out of control!" phase. It will pass. I'll get all anal again soon enough. Plus, I have 2 friends with Adderall 'scripts, if an emergency arises. :P
