(some disturbing information here)Why can't they find a way to catch the endangered polar bears and
move them to a place with more ice? I can't get the picture out of my head of that polar bear standing on a little piece of ice.

I've got the number for world wildlife fund and I'm going to call tomorrow but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. They showed a picture of a polar bear who died of starvation on their site

1. The polar bears need ice to feed. They eat seals. They actually capture
rogue bears in Churchill Manitoba and put them in jail. These rogue bears are ones who have come into human contact while they wait for sealing season to begin on Hudson's Bay. And to make sure the rogue bears are not encouraged to become rogue bears the next year.... they don't feed them while they are in bear jail for a few months.

I don't know what the answer is. Seems anywhere where there is human influence over the environment the huge animals all die off. Huge animals are only now left in the arctics, and africa. We've destroyed all the others a long time ago.

2. That is so awful. They probably want them to learn not to associate
people with food but starving them is not the answer.

3. The bears starve in the wild during those months anyway. So they
are just mimiking nature by not feeding them.

4. Antarctica!
Tired of penguin movies? Tired of penguins in general?

Wanna see a leopard seal get what's coming to him?

Think Antarctic researchers need a lil' excitement in their lives?

Polar Bears.

Problem solved.
