Took out a full page ad for $300 for the fucking thing with a page I designed that had pics of her and a little congratulatory note.
Her ad page is virtually unreadable. The print is atrocious and all of the pics are so pixelated I could scream.
Gonna be needing my money back, that's for sure.
It looks a LOT different than the version I submitted. A couple of the pics weren't the best because I had to scan them, but the type? Unreadable.
Damn. I'm pissed.

6. I don't know. I just dragged and dropped photos from |
|
my digital camera file and put it in publisher and then saved it to adobe.
If it was going to look this bad, someone should have proofed it and notified me.

11. Seriously. He must think I'm dumb. |
|
Actually, pretty sure he does.
I can't find a hard copy anyway. I think I just had the copy that I put on the disk and dropped off at the school.
But, when I print pics here from the same digital camera program, they print fine. Granted, it's not perfect, my printer is your run of the mill HP All in One, but when printed on photo paper, they look like they were printed at Target, or Walgreen's.

2. What company did they use? |
|
We keep using Lifetouch and I keep begging my principal to let us go with someone else, so I want to know who NOT to use.

Lifetouch online yearbook editing leaves a LOT to be desired. I did our middle school yearbook the first two years we were open and it took FOREVER to upload stuff too. I'm really picky and haven't been happy with any since mine. Go figure. I wanted to give another company a try, but the principal kept forgetting and then he'd go ahead and sign the contract with Lifetouch for the next year. That's another reason I stopped sponsoring the yearbook club. I like things done my way... LOL!

19. I guess they did a big upgrade to WebEase |
|
supposedly to address some of the above issues. Last year was the first year we did the online yearbook, before that it was all paste up.
I am one of the admins this year for our yearbook on WebEase. I am hoping the uploading process has gotten faster.

20. I'm letting someone else have all the fun now |
|
I will take photos, mostly candids, and we use 'em for the yearbook and then 8th grade end of the year/not allowed to call it graduation celebration slide show. Since this is my kid's last year there, I'll be takin' plenty. :)
If WebEase works better, that would be great. You'll have to let me know. I like our rep, but I told her that program drove me about half out of my mind.

So far the page after you log in is laid out completely different. Going to have to learn how to navigate it again.

All that hard work for nothing. They should at least have let you know the quality would be compromised.
