I want to set up a newsie or blog-like website (think talkingpointsmemo.com or alternet.org, yes i know they are a bit different). My ISP has available for my account:

Perl
PHP
mySQL

Nucleus
pMachine Free
WordPress

Drupal
Geeklog
PHP-Nuke
Post-Nuke
Siteframe
Xoops

Any recommendations?

1. Web development
Adobe GoLive or Macromedia Dreamweaver. Both are designed specifically for your task, and can handle all forms of content.

2. Are you programming it yourself?

3. I probably COULD, but why reinvent the wheel
I usually do all my HTML in notepad :)

I figure most of those "products" listed above are php/mySQL anyways.

I'm a professional SW developer, with products, a patent, etc.

I want results.
