Mmm... My homemade chili smells DELICIOUS!
Two pounds of ground beef... Two thirds of a white onion... Half a green pepper... Four cloves of crushed garlic... Diced tomatoes... Red kidney beans... Plenty of garlic salt, ground cumin, chili powder, and fresh pepper...

It's simmering right now and the flavors and blending and OH GODS it smells good!

Only another half hour or so until it's chili time! :9

1. If I give this thread a "skip it"
does that mean I think your chili sucks? :P

3. Sounds yummmmmy
I cheat a little and use the Carroll Shelby mix, then add on. Brown the beef and throw everything 'cept the beans in the crock pot. Let it cook all day, add the beans, then the masa and eat. And, yes, I also like beans in my chili.
Fall and winter are chili weather.

4. Agreed! Today's the first day of fall, so I decided it was Chili Time.

I bought an 8 quart stock pot before I left work today, and my ingredients are simmering in it as I type!

Mmm... This might be the best chili I've ever cooked. Pictures may be forthcoming...

5. SLIGHT UPDATE!
I'm gonna take a couple of pictures of my creation soon, so that I might make the lot of you green with envy... Or just hungry, or maybe a little gassy.
