Duers, refresh my memory; what was the last system DU implemented? The one that failed? |
|
I was trying to remember what it was, but I can't. I just remember it resulted in an epic explosion of nastiness, complaining, and lulz.
Does anyone remember what the heck that feature was?

they couldn't even respond in your threads in addition to the other stuff. There was more to it, but that's what really stood out for me.

Hi Fleshdance!! :bounce:
Let's see...3 Econ classes, my Thesis, my Internship, my new "job", a private tutoring gig, and trying to integrate the new kitteh into the house, which is proving difficult.
No wonder my body only functions on 5-6 hours sleep. More than that, and I'm exhausted.
:hi:

|
I lurked on your kitty thread and you sound like a great meow mom!
I just got back from Thailand for my 10 yr anniversary so I'm relaxed and rejuvinated enough to continue my part in pissing off the religious right. :D
Are any of your econ classes discussing the current mess?

We didn't go to a sex show (why do cab drivers assume a western couple would be interested in the ping pong show anyway??) but we did manage to find a bar on the street that our hotel was located on. My favorite memory of Bangkok will forever be drinking Thai beer from that bar while feeding an elephant and sitting next to what I can only assume to be a local pre-op transsexual hooker. My only regret is that I didn't have a camera with me to record the sheer level of AWESOME! :D

People complained that they were being silenced on issues they cared about and they demanded that people be able to see that such and such OP asshole was blocking their Righteous Invasion of Truth, so to speak

This was before your block list became visible, so I started commenting that it would be rude for him not to acknowledge the thread and mysteriously he never showed up.
