I don't know about anarchy, or socialism, or tribalism, or economics, poetry, or feminism. Or humanism, altruism, narcisism, or pornography. Or Guatemala or Kerala. And I don't know about apathy or cynicism or compassion. Or institutional inverses or conviviality or the vernacular language or the death penalty. I don't know about Whitman Whitmanic toenails Whitmania or beatification. I don't know what "putting my queer shoulder to the wheel" means. I don't know where the wheel is. I don't know which direction it should be pushed in. I don't like nihilism. I don't want to be a cynic. I want to care about everything and everyone even if it kills me. I don't know about Dover Beach, but I know about ignorant armies. I don't know the answers to any of these questions, but nobody's asking me anyway.

Which means you're
now a poet.
It might need line breaks
or perhaps it doesn't and it's all one big long Ginsbergesque line stretching across the page
like an over-stimulated cat
lounging in the afternoon sun.

Edit: I see I was not the first person to have this observation...but I was the first to respond in prose-poem.
