So I watched Batman Begins last night
Wow did that suck. Bring back Tim Burton, he at least knows what he's doing, unlike some directors' I could mention, but won't because I'm too much of a gentleman to name names, Mr. Christopher Dolan, you hack.

1. Clearly you have no taste.
I'm rating this "disruptive".

5. OK
I was bluffing.

But my statement regarding your lack of taste stands.

2. Wow. We have different tastes in movies.
I thought Batman Begins was incredible. So much better than the older Batman movies of the early 1990s, including Burton's, which was made in 1989, I think.

I even liked Batman Begins better than the Dark Knight.

7. Ugh...I still can't believe I actually finished it...I think it had rendered me insensate
so that I couldn't grab the remote.

The big chase scene climax alternated between nauseating and mind-numbingly dull. The utter lack of any sort of chemistry between Bale and Holmes was only slightly lessened by the lack of chemistry between Bale and everyone else in the movie, including people he never shared the screen with.

All the good actors in the movie (Oldman, Neeson, Freeman, Caine) seemed to fall back on the most reliable stereotypes of their respective characters, which I can only assume that, given their skill as actors, the direction sucked horse cock.

What a waste of two and a half looooong hours.

3. I didn't like the hour-long backstory.
Batman's been around since before World War II -- we already know his backstory.

9. THANK YOU!
And the editing during the back story was hopeless...the timeline of Wayne's life was fractured and a little hard to follow.

Not that I was trying that hard, mind you.

21. They could have kept the part where he was a boy and have it run for 15 minutes.
Anything else was too much.
