The most bizarre/hilarious use of it is in Silent Hill 3. If you enter the Konami Code at the title screen then choose new game, the character of Douglas will be wearing nothing but shoes, socks, boxers, and a trench coat.

So it might just be the weirdest cheat code ever. Considering some of the most emotional scenes in the game involve him, and well he's not wearing much...it's surreal.
