2. Thanks very much.
I was kind of hoping for a new monthly payment, now I have one.

I just got back from a CVS with a bunch of dental patchwork products and a much lighter wallet, too.

Man, this sucks.

Thanks for taking so much time to respond, though. :)

3. I was on the scope of giving medical advice anyway....
But I can offer commiseration about the pain.

And I don't think anyone on here would argue against the suggestion to see if your doctor will at LEAST give you some appropriate antibiotics. They are generic, they are cheap, and most doctors would much rather give out some Pen VK than give you Percs for the abscess that can develop if you don't get that Pen VK or whatever they decide is the right antibiotic. Seriously -- the most expensive antibiotic combo I've ever received for a recalcitrant tooth infection was Penn VK with Flagyl -- I'm allergic to almost anything ending in mycin and the one he gave me, sure enough, broke me out.

The cost, without insurance, for both together was $10.28.

USA Drug is the cheapest place I've found to use without health insurance.

And anti-inflammatories actually helped me more than narcs really did unless I had an infection.

4. I deleted because I just
threw in the towel and called 1-800-dentists. I sort of wish you had left your post up, though.

Thanks again for the help anyway.

Who the hell breaks their molar on a sandwich, BTW? My luck just sucks.

5. I broke mine on Frosted Mini-Wheats and then later on peanut M&Ms.
Sugar is bad for me.

I broke a front tooth on ice cream, but that was a tooth that had been broken before, by pavement, and was badly repaired.

As I said, sugar is bad.
