Which degree has more practical use? |
|
A BA in politics and gender studies, or a BSc in health promotion?
And which one seems more interesting?
I was pretty set on doing a major in politics and gender studies in university, but one of the universities I want to go to has a program in health promotion that sounds really interesting, and has more bearing on what I actually want to do for a living. (Being a sex educator).
Any thoughts?

2. The second one. The first one will be SO GODDAMNED FRUSTRATING |
|
that it may, over time, affect your health. Eventually you will go through life aware of the depth and breadth of the inequalities that exist in our society and it will slowly grind your soul down to a bloody stump. This from a straight, white man, so.........
Meh. Get an arts degree. Makes you feel human.

5. If you are more interested in one than the other, go with your interests. |
|
Believe me (from experience) working long and hard in a field in which you have little interest is a bad way to spend your life.
Do what interests you - your carreer will follow your interests, and you will be a happier person.
Good luck.
