I've narrowed it down to four choices...which do you think I should get?

1.

2.

3.

4.

3. OTHER!
I have recently seen some GREAT DEALS!!! on pre-owned Cadillac Escalade SUV's, and a couple of Lincoln Navigators, too! Plenty of room for gas cans, and you can pay for the gas with the money you save on these special offers!

HURRY! THEY WON'T LAST LONG! (please buy them before they rust away.....)

4. Yaris
I've been eyeing the Toyota Yaris for awhile. 36mpg and base model is only around $11k.

6. Meh. Donkeys are complete bastards.
OK, I've only met one. And he was a miniature donkey.

But he was a complete bastard. :D

9. Cute movie, too! "I do believe I've got you covered." Still one of those lines you can utter in many
circumstances.

8. Bicycle--less methane than a donkey, smarter than a smart car, and
you can toss it in the back seat of the Interceptor when you need to go somewhere.

Seriously, I don't get the Smart Car. They get worse mileage than a Prius, hold about half the people and stuff, and are Hell to drive on a highway. They are darned cute, though, and can fit in your shaving kit for long trips.

10. the other day (while riding the bus) I saw in a driveway:
one gigantic pickup truck (it was a Toyota...Tundra or something)

one equally gigantic fancy Land Rover

and one smart car

this was in one of the richer neighborhoods in dc...I thought it was pretty hilarious. Like, "hmmm, wonder which one of those was the most recent purchase?"

it looked like the smart car would have pretty much fit in the bed of the pickup truck.

11. I bought a Prius from a guy back in 04, when they first came out with the current style.
There was a six month waiting list, so I bought it off EBay without talking to the guy. When I picked it up, he had a Mercedes and Porsche in his garage, both silver, and this white Prius. He told us he bought the Prius as soon as it come out, but he wanted silver, and all they had left was white, and it was at a dealership in Georgia--he was in Connecticut. So he bought the white Prius, had it shipped by train to him, and ordered a silver one, and when he heard that the silver one was in, he sold the white one.

One of the few times I thought maybe I should have gotten my degree in business instead of medieval history. Nice guy, too, so I couldn't even tell myself "Well, at least I can sleep at night!"
