Poll question: I'm sick as a dog, I can barely breathe through my nose...should I stay at work and tough it out? |
|
Or should I go home and be a common cold girly man?
I'd rather not go home, because it is a few hours of pay that I could always put to good use. At the same time, my nose is running like it's on an episode of COPS.

Don't you care about the man's needs? He cares about yours!

5. If the man cared about my needs, my schedule would have been changed to part time two weeks ago. |

3. I like to use creative similes when describing my runny noses. |
|
Previous examples include "running like a gazelle at African Lion Safari" and "running like it just stole its neighbour's lawn gnome."

6. Go home like the CONTAGIOUS girly-man you are. |
|
And if you have a good Chinese restaurant on the way, pick up a quart of hot and sour soup.

For crying out loud, GO HOME!
For your own sake...
And to keep the rest of the people in your office from catching your cold!
Feel better, OK?
Sorry you're sick...

But I will tell you this. When I'm sick and I need to get through the work day, I take a few drops of oil of oregano and two regular sudafed (the stuff you have to buy at the pharmacy. Avoid the stuff that says 'pe' on it.).
Y'know, for what it's worth.
