4. He's usually pretty even handed about interviewing people

although he's more liberal than not. But if someone acts like an idiot he's not going to overlook it no matter what party they are.

11. Well, having Obama or McCain on a late night talk show

is going to draw an audience of people beyond those who regularly watch. Its a gift to the candidate and its high ratings for the host. Obama used the hour wisely. McCain was an idiot to cancel.

12. Well, it's the lying... he added insult to injury

It's like saying you can't go out to dinner on Friday because you're going to be out of town, then run into the person to whom you lied. NEVER a good idea. And he did that in front of the entire country. He knows Letterman would find out fast-- so what was he thinking?? BAD JUDGMENT!!!
