Raise a glass with me... :toast: here's to having the hardest part of the semester behind, and getting to watch the REST of the class try to top the circus that my friends and i put on.

Performance project for "Politics of the American Stage" - worth 25% of the semester grade... done.
My group did a post-mod interpretation of the last scene in The Crucible, but played havoc with the gender expressions of the actors, and made the condemning issue not 'witchcraft', but homosexuality. We made the gay cast members play the straight characters, including me playing Judge Danforth while in televangelist drag-king mode... AND, we staged an execution that in Miller's original script was done offstage.

On the same day, i had my first exam in my Communications class. I didn't have time to study for it because of the performance project deadline, and still aced the exam.

I need to relax and have a few hard ciders...

I have beer, Crown, Absolut, Courvoisier, Jack, and a decently stocked beer fridge. Place your orders. Wait. There's some Tanqueray in the freezer too.

I'm joining you, though you may have already celebrated. I sent out four more job apps, and got a lead on two more jobs... I might have a connection. My daughter brought home two more kittens for us to "foster". And the STBE said my boyfriend can move in with me for the right monthly rent. I'm feeling rather unsettled at the moment, and am having a shot of Canadian Mist because it's what I have. Gah! I don't like it although it does remind me very pleasantly of my first summer with the bf. :toast: :hug:

Yeah... i couldn't be more thrilled with all of our performances.

6. How far along are you in your major?

Are you an undergrad or grad student? I hold two Theater degrees myself, so understand what you're going through. At one time I was in your shoes.

It's a long semester. Make sure you pace yourself.

7. I'm a PoliSci major, and i'm about 2/3 of the way there...

I decided on an English minor, and that's proving to be more challenging than my main course of study.
