1. What? You don't want your balls crushed? |

3. Your problem is that you're not seeing the whole picture. |

Golf may involve getting your balls crushed, but it also involves "ball - washing". You do the math.

4. I'll probably own the lower center model in about 3 years |

That's the Callaway FT 5 driver. My buddies have them and I smash it. But I'm a value guy and no way I'm shelling out that type of cash for a club. I'll wait until it's in the $70 range.
ebay is your friend. I've finally caught up to 2003 technology, the Steelhead III fairway woods. They are a gem, rated top models at the time, and now available for $40 to $60 if not lower after retailing for $315. I bought the 3, 3+, 4, 5, 7 and 9 recently and paid slightly over $200 total. Great high draw. Still missing the damn headcover for the 4. :)
Gad, I could tell you about all of those clubs in the flyer, sad to report. I post on major golf message boards and those are the touted savior clubs, with everyone listing their specs in the sigs.

5. I'll stick with my Pings and skip the ball-crushing. |
