I like the way that goes together.
'Bama has always been my second favorite team. They put a hurtin' on the Bulldogs tonight.

9. I just have to share this |
|
As some of you I live in Georgia. My neighbors, other than being huge republicans, are also huge Georgia Bulldog fans. Anyway they were barbecuing earlier in the evening, and I was watching them outside have a good ol time, laughing it up before the game started. They had even brought a little tv outside so they could cook and watch the game. Well as BAMA started to thrash the Dawgs the mood next door became somewhat somber and the laughing mostly turned into talking about how they plan on going fishin in the morning. A bunch of their guest even left the home earlier, in the 3rd quarter with the heads down in shame. It was quite funny to watch. Usually, if Georgia is winning they have the radio turned up so loud on their back patio that you can hear it in my bedroom. But not tonight. It was nice and peaceful. And being the good neighbor that I am I even took down my Alabama flag from my front porch. Well I will be putting it back up tomorrow morning.

I had never heard of "the Iron Bowl" which was on the TV that afternoon. I didn't particularly care about Alabama or Auburn winning so I began to root for Auburn because everyone else in the house was a Tide fan. My friend's grandfather said, "you are welcome to cheer for any team you like, but if you are going to root for Auburn you will have to go outside."
I have been a Tide fan ever since.

16. And I used to like you so much. |
|
Shouldn't the line go "Rammer Jammer, Yellowhammer, give 'em hell, Alabamer" just to follow the rhyming pattern? I'm just sayin'. But then again, I guess grammar doesn't really apply to Alabamer :P
Damn it was awful! I quit watching early in the 2nd. At least Florida lost too! hahahahaha
I always tell people - if USC and Ohio State (the BCS darlings) were forced to play in the SEC for one season, they sure wouldn't be the golden boys of the BCS anymore!
Oh, and I guess I will begrudgingly offer my congratulations. :)
