Does such a thing really exist?
Do you know even ONE person that has NEVER let you down, not EVER, not even one time. Does such a relationship really exist?

I don't believe it does.

2. Nobody's perfect
I try to keep my word and treat everyone with kindness, but I fail sometimes. We're only human.

5. They sell dolls like that on the internet
I understand that they're pricey, but they probably don't let you down.

Other than that, it's an unrealistic and unfair expectation to have of another person. And, if you're looking for it, then you're setting yourself up for failure.

6. I just wanted to know if it existed...
matter of fact, I have managed to think of two (2) people in my very own life that have never let me down. Think about it.

8. Well, in what capacity?
To refer to "people in one's life" is kind of vague. The security guard at my former job never let me down. Neither has the woman who works at the doughnut shop. The paperboy always gets the paper here on time, so he's never let me down, either. So that's three.

I've let my wife down more than she's let me down, and in fact I can't really think of a time that she did, to be honest. But I don't hold that as an expectation of her, because I find it unrealistic.

I think it matters less that people let you down--it's what happens after they do.

20. Probably not
We are all human and destined to make mistakes. I think it depends on the extent and circumstances whether or not it will work out. Someone who consistently fucks up is different than someone who only occasionally fucks up.

But I also know that I have let people down. Sometimes other people have unrealistic expectations or make too many demands on another person.

I wonder if it is too much to demand that someone notice and recognize my existence. Do you think that is asking too much?
