My older cousins, who provided me with misinformation that lasted for years, told me that they would sew your lips shut. Or maybe it was my mother or father ... wishful thinking kind of threat. Does anyone else remember that fiction or was it our very own local idiocy?

24. Jimminy crickets!
When a prey item is first caught in the web, Argiope bruennichi will quickly immobilise its prey by wrapping it in silk. The prey is then bitten and then injected with a paralysing venom and a protein dissolving enzyme.
What a way to go.

Explain to an ignorant where you get something like that and how you put it up on your posts. Use simple words. Assume I know nothing and I will be more likely to get it as that is close to the truth. I jealous.

74. I couldn't afford both a professional camera and good glass.
So I decided to buy good glass and with the money that I had left over buy a camera. I figure that cameras wear out and need to be upgraded, but with good care, glass should last a long time. To answer your question, my camera is a Cannon Rebel with a Cannon 180mm macro lens.
