I will be losing a great friend in the next day or so...

Her name is Kim and we first met when we moved next door to her. She never hesitated to tell me what she thought and was quick to laugh. Kim had a sharp sense of humor that got me out of being too serious sometimes. She is my good friend and losing her won't be easy.

She found out about the cancer a few months ago and she knew her time left on earth would soon be coming. Kim faced it with the kind of courage you rarely see. She kept her humor and never let anyone else get down either.

Kim is only 46 years old and she'll leave behind a husband, three daughters, one son and a grandson. She'll live forever in my heart.

that you feel right now. i've watched loved ones pass away - even when you are expecting it, it never fails to leave you shaken when the time finally comes.
